FAQ

Hi there! My name is Pamela and I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. I also have a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech. I am a licensed business in Sparta, Tennessee, where I run my studio.

Originally from Houma, Louisiana, I moved to Robertson County, Tennessee in late 1991. I’ve been a resident of Sparta since 2008.

Since my first hot pink Minnie Mouse 35mm point and shoot film camera I received for Christmas in 1990, I’ve never been without a camera in my hands. But it took 20 years before I realized that maybe photography could actually be my career!

I’m married with three kids, and my husband and I own a remodeling business, Three Quarters Restoration, as well.

I appreciate you taking the time to visit my website! Be sure to drop me a line in the contact form below if you have any questions! (Photos of my family and I provided by Shutter Sprite Photography)

• How long does a session last?
Usually 60-90 minutes, though it depends on several factors, including the number of people being photographed, and the tolerance young children have before they are just worn out!

•When will I receive my images?
It depends on the season, but in my busy seasons (August-December), you can expect to receive your images in 14-16 days. Weddings can take 8-10 weeks.

•How many images will I receive?
For a regular location session you can expect approximately 60 images. Seniors can expect approximately 50 images. Newborns can expect 25-30 images.

•What should I wear?
Most importantly, wear something you are comfortable in that makes you feel your best! I always advise against neon super bright colors that can cause some unflattering reflection onto the subjects’ faces. I also advise against loud prints and characters that can date your photos and become the focus of the image over the subject: YOU! Pick a color theme for your family and find varying prints and styles to fit that theme. Loose, flowing dresses for the ladies and simple button ups for the guys are classic styles that will make your images stand the test of time.

•Can I bring my pup?
Sure! I love animals! I’ve shot with a lot of different animals. Just make sure you have someone who can take care of your four legged baby while we are shooting images he/she won’t appear in.

•Do I get a CD or prints?
I prefer to send my clients a link to download your images, so you don’t have to worry about coming out to meet to pick up a CD. I don’t offer print products at this time, however I will deliver a list of my favorite print companies for a variety of products with your print release!

•Do you do mini sessions?
Only on special occasions. I usually do them close to Christmas and other holidays.
