Pamela R. Claytor

Hi there! My name is Pamela and I am a published portrait photographer, specializing in pinups, seniors, creative portraits and love in all its forms. I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and also have a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech. I operate my studio in Sparta, Tennessee.

Originally from Houma, Louisiana, I moved to Robertson County, Tennessee in late 1991. I’ve been a resident of Sparta since 2008.

Since my first hot pink Minnie Mouse 35mm point and shoot film camera I received for Christmas in 1990, I’ve never been without a camera in my hands. But it took 20 years before I realized that maybe photography could actually be more than just a hobby!

I’m obsessed with 1940s and 50s vintage culture and well as rockabilly and punk rock music and classic horror movies, and this is wear I draw most of my inspiration.

Since starting my business in 2014, I’ve been featured and published in several publications, including Bombshell, Retro Lovely (including many cover features in their family of magazines), Rocket (including a back cover feature), Retro Man, Expremier, Pinup Kulture, Delicious Dolls, Photograp.her, Nashville Voyager, Canvas Rebel, Atomic, Creative Collective, Golden Exposure, Wild Wander, Stellar Exposure, The Social Pin, The Storyteller, as well as two cover features in Colorshot Magazine. I’ve been an internationally top ranking photographer on Viewbug.com for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, and have ranked in the top 10% in the Shoot and Share photography contest.

I’m married with three children, and my husband and I own a remodeling business, Three Quarters Restoration, as well.

On the weekends, if I’m not working you’ll often find my family and I cosplaying and hitting comic cons and conventions, especially horror themed conventions!

I appreciate you taking the time to visit my website! Be sure to drop me a line if you have any questions!
